About Our Classes
K-2nd Grade
There are 4 total classes for this level: Reading, Math, Science, and History. Science and History at this grade level are an introduction to these topics and is more focused around expanding the student's vocabulary and math and reading skills. All these classes are very hands on and use lots of different methods, such as Charlotte Mason and Montessori.
3rd-4th Grade
There are 4 total classes for this level: Reading, Math, Science, and History. History is more of an introduction in this class and science starts to get more in-depth for these grades. Reading is also starting to focus on grammar at this point. Again these classes use a variety of different activities and learning styles to keep the students engaged and learning.
5th-6th Grade
There are 4 total classes for these grades: Math, English, Science, and History. The history for these grades changes every year: 2026-2027 will be focused on learning all about the states. The science starts with general science and then students vote on what they want for the second semester between Botany, Marine Biology, and Astronomy. English at this level focuses on grammar as well as reading different types of books, such as classics, autobiographies, short stories, poetry, non-fiction, and fiction books.
7th-8th Grade
These grades have four main classes: History, English, Science, and Math. History focus on a different time in history every year, for the 2026-2027 school year it will be focusing on Ancient History. Science starts with general science and then for the second semester students get to choose and vote between Astronomy, Marine Biology, and Botany. English focuses on improving writing, cursive handwriting, and reading different styles of writing.
High School Science
We have 5 different high school level sciences avaliable for you to choose from: Biology, Physical Science, Chemisty, Human Anatomy, and Forensic Science. They all meet the requirements for high school level science and all include labs.
High School English
We have 2 different classes for choose from: American Literature I/II (This is for 9th and 11th grade students. The books change every two years and the writing requirements are different based on your grade level.) British Literature I/II (This is for 10th and 11th grade students. The books change every two years and the writing requirements are different based on your grade level.) They all meet the requirements for high school level english.
Extra Curricular Classes
We currently have 7 extra credit classes avaliable: Line Dancing, Theater, Speech and Debate, Coding Chaos, Microsoft Essentials, Career Prep, and Mixed Media Art.
High School Math
There are 5 different math classes to choose from: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Advanced Math, and Consumer Math. They all meet the requirements for high school level math.
High School History
There are 4 different history classes to choose from: American History Colonial, American History Modern, World History Modern, and Government and Economics. They all meet the requirements for high school level history.
