FAQ
ARE WE ACCREDITED?
Yes, we went through great effort to qualify for accreditation with the American Association of Independent Private Schools. We recommend accredited materials for teaching your children and most of our graduates have gone on to college. We are very proud of that! We do not have the need for, or desire to have SACS accreditation.
DO YOU HAVE REQUIRED MEETINGS?
We have annual required meetings, with several volunteer meetings and park days in between. Required: orientation and graduation. All details are in our events calendar, our handbook, and online, plus we send several announcements throughout the year by email. Our graduation is a full cap and gown ceremony and considered a required meeting for the school.
DO YOU NEED A DEGREE TO TEACH YOUR CHILD?
No, but you DO need a high school diploma. You also need to be able to organize, and plan to be responsible for your child’s education.
WHAT IF I CAN’T TEACH MATH?
We offer a few on-campus classes to assist parents in their homeschooling endeavors. The schedule varies each year and the classes close quickly, so ask about them during your meeting.
DO WE HAVE FIELD TRIPS?
Yes, like any other school we organize field trips for children of all ages at least once a month. We email directions and instructions before each trip. Our event calendar has all of the information on these trips.
WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?
Registration fees and info are in our enrollment packets that can all be acquired by calling our office and having it mailed to you or you may pick one up at our office.
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE TUTORING?
No, not on campus, but we do have resources who would be glad to privately tutor a student.
